have fracture of metatarsal
no running
this sucks

Thats a bugger, but hey at least you now know what was wrong. Make sure you get it fully fixed, no point in making an early comeback and stuffing it up again. Heaps of time to get set for the rest of the year.

You will have to find some cross training alternatives to keep the fitness up.

As for my dedication? Foolishness really. In a taper week, you should be finding every excuse not to run. It was very scary.

Yes, rest then cross-training. Do what the doc/physio says. A gradual comeback with this one.

Mate I had to Google Metatarsal cause I have never heard it before. A fracture in a foot bone must be no fun at all. I hope you aren't laid up for too long?
